Calibre Safety Services provides specialist Safety and Training Services to the resources, construction and manufacturing industries, with a primary goal to help clients reduce their incident rates and meet their statutory obligations.

We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Site Safety Advisor.

The role involves:

• Planning and coordinating the day to day activities of Project Personnel.
• Reviewing Project OS&H needs against the Project Safety Management Plan and directing energies and personnel to ensure compliance against the Plan and Project Standards.
• Reviewing Safety performance with the Project Construction Manager and directing additional focus to areas that fall below the standard.
• Coordinate data for weekly and monthly performance reports, compile reports and forward to OS&H Resources Manager Projects (Perth) by deadline.
• Reviews Site inspections, Hazard Reports and Incident Reports.

To be successful in this role the applicant would possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in OS&H.
• Minimum 5 years field experience in OS&H, in Construction and Mining industries.
• Proven background of leadership in OS&H positions.
• Knowledge of current OS&H legislation.
• Proven familiarity with OS&H systems, Risk Management, Accident Prevention process.
• Proven background of accident investigation and report writing.
• Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
